ROBERTO ROVERE

Biography

Born in Friuli Venezia Giulia, where he still resides, he is 53 years old, married, and has two children. He has served as Chief Audit Officer of BPER Banca since 1 January 2022. He graduated in Business Administration from the University of Trieste in 1997, with a thesis in financial mathematics, and in 2004 completed an Executive Programme in Human Resources Management and Organisational Development at MIP Politecnico di Milano. He began his career in 1998 at a regional bank and went on to hold roles within major organisations including Intesa Sanpaolo, UBI Banca and PwC Advisory. Over the course of his professional career, he has developed broad expertise across Organisation, Human Resources, Risk Management, Compliance and Internal Audit. He has also served as Chief Compliance Officer and as a member of the Supervisory Body pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001, both at UBI Banca and BPER Banca.
